I do think that eventually Rih will want to play a much bigger role in creating her art. I'm sure it will happen eventually. and when that happens is when she is going to start her process into legend hood (if the music is fantastic of course and if she is properly credited by the media for it)

Her icon status is up in the air though. Bc you could say it was after Umbrella, but after We Found Love was when people really started to take her seriously and that was really what truly solidifed her

I agree, Rihanna is definitely an icon (maybe since Umbrella even, definitely after We Found Love), but aside from having HUGE single success, she's lacking sth extraordinary to be regarded a legend. Hoewever, she's still young so she can definitely reach that if she (continues to) work her ass.
