BBHMM is an urban cliché, more generic than most of Katie Perry sigles, Rihana is so over! she was coming for a very successful era + a break of three years! omggg
No, the 'no video' excuse isn't useless, because she would've peaked higher with a music video.
Right? Like, BBHMM just got a 15 spot bump from the video (which also bumped sales from down in the 60s to the top 20). Bet it got a little help on radio due to the video as well. Glad Gaga didn't though. It looked desperate and would've just made people dislike her more.
Duke's Mike Krzyzewski is college basketball's winningest coach, but he definitely lost it when he met Queen Bey
Mike Krzyzewski has won five NCAA championships and mentored some of this generation's greatest basketball players during his 35-year career at Duke, and no coach in Division I hoops has won more games. And yet, despite being a Hall of Famer who regularly rubs shoulders with the likes of LeBron James, Kobe Bryant and President Obama, he was a nervous wreck when he first met Queen Bey.
"I had to meet her," Krzyzewski remembered. "So I said 'I'm Coach K' and she says 'Coach, I just heard you speak for 10 minutes. I know who you are.' So I felt like 13. Then I asked her – something I hardly ever ask anyone to do – would you please take a picture with me?"
Sadly, the picture didn't go smoothly, either.
"My face is all red and I look like I'm 11," he sheepishly explained. "It doesn't show her patting me on the head."

The goal is Beyonce’s number one, and Ester Dean’s number one. That’s two things I got to get before life is over. And then I’ll go be a teacher or something.

Q: You’re becoming known for your live shows. Whose act is your template for that?
Michael Jackson and Bruce Springsteen—what they do, I’m still obsessed with them as performers. And I look to people like Feist and Ryan Adams for how cool they come across. But I would even say there is so much to be taken from Beyonce’s sheer confidence and power on stage—even for someone whose all about guitars and lyrics.
@Beyonce oh nothin' just me & about 70K peeps saying hello to ya @MtlJazzFestival #adam&beyonce #wegohometour2015
Woke up to all these in my google alerts. It never stops. One day I hope other stanbases can experience what it's like to wake up to news about someone building a skyscraper inspired by your fave.
