I'm sure the way John's DR/interview persona will differ from how he presents himself to the house guests, at least at first. He's going to be one of the people that doesn't quite fit in with everyone else, but it'll work for him, like the oddball pet that doesn't really mean any harm. Someone is going to play too hard at the start and put an early target on their back, which will take boot priority over an "annoying laugh" and if he's the first night boot, before they really get to play, well... there's probably some kind of twist around that, so it doesn't really matter.
Above all else though, his stans love him because he has a unique personality and is adorable.
