Plus, you sound like you've gone through hell and back in your private lifte, whether it's financial or personal difficulties, so all of that could turn into a song. If you were happy in life, your self portrait would be boring

My song's just a bit of a, "**** it, this is me, this is my destiny" acceptance anthem in the vein of "Fingerprints" by Katy Perry, and sonically similar to a Charli XCX or Kesha song. It's definitely not one of my well worded little scriptures. I'm kinda just giving myself to this song, and in order to truly do that, I have to write upbeat and radio friendly. I've already said to multiple contestants and judges that writing beautiful little poetic pieces isn't what I enjoy and so to write another "Set Sail" for this round in particular would be hypocritical. I mean it could backfire again but I know I'm doing what I'm supposed to be doing so I'm excited about that.

He was busy that week, no? Like I can understand if that was his only chance and he felt inspired, but I've had NOTHING to do, for 4 days. I've never been like that. I always have at least a LINE written by the end of the day the challenge is posted.

Maybe that's my problem, though? I mean, I really had to try to not stress this so hard this week and let something hit me, but it really scares me that it's Thursday now and I don't feel like I have something brilliant to submit.
