That may actually be a good album to listen too for this. I don't really have much in the way of a concept right now, but I'm thinking about writing a song that focuses on mind over matter.
I'm not really a fan of Kelly Clarkson, or any pop-rock for that matter (somehow Taylor her pop-rock songs are different). But I do remember being younger and living in the Breakaway days when she was completely unstoppable.

I remember the Breakaway slayage too, I was only 8 If I was older I def would've stanned hard for her that era.

It really is! There was a thread last night about favourite Kylie non-singles and I noticed all of mine were from this album so I went and listened to it. Its pretty fantastic lyrically.

I tried listening to IP before but I really didn't like it, even though the lyrics were great.

Someone who agrees that Ryn Weaver's voice is just... off-putting! I feel like such an outcast because I just can't get into her at all, even Octahate was not good to me.

She has such a shaky voice and all of her fans are like "but it's natural vibrato!!11!1!!"
And it sounds like everything's coming from the back of her throat. I honestly can't believe ATRL is stanning so hard.
