The Disney ABC Television Group is attempting to champion the potential of young socially conscious individuals and their creative approach to strengthening their communities and changing the world.
Through the “Summer of Creativity” initiative, the network will commit programming content and public service announcements highlighting how creativity and action can inspire a better future.
ABC Television Group will also fund over 100 Youth Service America grants ($500 each) to support individual youth-led projects that help make communities greener, safer, smarter, healthier or cleaner.
A special one-hour broadcast will be hosted by Selena Gomez and will spotlight young change makers on Friday, August 21 @ 8PM ET/PT on ABC!
On Aug. 21, ABC will also air Free The Children "We Day 2015" also hosted by singer/actress Selena Gomez!
