Betty Boop (8thPrince)
I’m kinda mixed on your title, I think it’s a pretty bad title but I like your reasoning behind choosing it. I liked the first verse, but I did think it was awkward at points like using the word eyelids. The pre-chorus is pretty amazing, I really loved it, (besides the word pluck). The chorus is good, it’s really different and well done. The second verse is better than the first, and isn’t as confusing on first glance at it. The best part is the bridge for me, the whole drink me/ocean part was easily my favorite and so well written. I can definitely see this being on Erotica.
Different Air (conatus)
I’ve only heard a few songs of Arcade Fire’s so I probably won’t be 100% sure if the song fits the album, but I’ll just judge based on what I heard. This is definitely one of your best entries so far. The first verse was well written, I lowkey got a Lorde tea though. The praying line in the pre-chorus >>>. The chorus is pretty strong but be careful with repetitiveness since it sometimes doesn’t work. The dying art line in the second verse was amazing. The are/star rhyme in the bridge felt kinda forced. But, besides that I liked the bridge. I think it’s a bit out of place with the rest of the song since it seems to follow two different themes. Overall, not really sure if this fits the album since I haven’t listened but the song is great and some of your best work.
Gales Of Time (ClarksonSlays)
I really liked the first verse, but I thought chiseled was a pretty awkward word to use in a song. I really liked the wall/bar line though. The chorus is definitely the highlight of the song so far, but I’m confused about what you mean about sending other people to heaven. The second verse was great too, but roaring down was a pretty weird line to use. Loved the bridge though, it’s a bit repetitiveness but nicely done so I don’t really have any complaints with it. Overall, I can definitely see Florence having this song on her album, so good job!
I Dont Need You (Hugamari)
It’s so hard to tell apart Christina’s songs that are about her dad from the ones that are about her lovers. The first verse is amazing though, it kind of reminds me of Fighter in a way. The pre-chorus is great, I can lowkey hear it to Dirrty. The chorus is the best part of the song, I can definitely hear Xtina slaying this. Didn’t like the use of the word scramble in the second verse though. The bridge is amazing. Not me thinking the song was about Xtina’s lover. But it’s actually about her dad. Anyways, you totally nailed this song, it has Xtina in her prime written all over it and you also made me confused on whether or not it was about her dad or lover.
In Your Hand (JustLuke)
Not really feeling the start of the first verse, mainly for the dove line, it just didn’t flow right and feels off. It also doesn’t really fit with the rest of the first verse. I did like the rest of the verse anyways. The chorus is pretty good, didn’t exactly blow me away but I liked it. Really liked the snow globe line in the second verse. The bridge kind of reminds me of Firework in a way. The personality line was shaky and I didn’t like it at all. Overall, the song was pretty good, I could see this after/before Firework or something empowering. I’m conflicted if you nailed Katy, like you nailed the feel of the album but not the metaphor tricks she uses in her songs, y’know? Otherwise it’s good.
Keep Me Satisfied (GotSkill)
Haven’t listened to much Amy Winehouse songs, but I did like the ones that I’ve heard. So I’m not sure if I can be 100% sure if this works for the album or not so don’t rely on me too much. I liked the first verse, the whiskey line is great and reminds me of Amy. The chorus is the best part of the song. The blowing smoke line in the second verse reminds me of Kacey. I like the bridge but I don’t think he holds up to the rest of the song. This definitely fits Amy and I feel like you wrote her well, so good job!
King (lovesong)
I really loved the intro to the song, it reminds me of Blow especially with the liquor line. The first verse has that sexiness that the album gives which is really good. Though, I think you could’ve went in a bit harder. The chorus is amazing though, even though I think the devil/angel comparison is overdone but it works really well. The second verse was good but I didn’t really like the gangsta line and thought it was awkward. I liked the bridge, but the highlight was the chorus. Overall, I felt like you did a good job nailing the feel to Beyonce.
Land Of The Green (EuphorianSea)
The first verse starts off the song wonderfully. Definitely gives off a strong Lana feel. You better come for Scarlet Bitch’s weave. The chorus is amazing and easily my favorite part, it reminds me of This Is What Makes Us Girls and the title track of Born To Die, it’s a great mix. Love the child line in the second verse, also the rose one as well. You definitely nailed the feel of Born To Die and Lana in general, I can easily see this being a song off the album.
Silver Lining (Era)
I really liked the first verse, it’s very sweet and the storytelling style reminds me of Taylor. The pre-chorus was good but I didn’t like the word simmer, and it seemed out of place honestly. The chorus is the best part of the song, the skyscraper line was my favorite. Also liked the lights reference since Taylor likes to reference those a lot. The rest of the chorus reminds me of Long Live, like “you traded your baseball cap for a crown” and in your song described how you were wearing amour. The second verse is great too, the fountain line reminds me of one of Taylor’s favorite shows Friends. Not sure if that reference was on purpose or not. Loved the outro. This definitely fits Speak Now and sounds like Taylor so good job!
Tombstone (keshaspearsxo)
Kelly Clarkson’s impact with Just Missed The Train aka one of her best songs off her album. The first verse is a great start to the song though, but the pre-chorus is where it really begins to pick up honestly. The chorus is the best part of the song, the dug grave line was the best part. The second verse wasn’t as good as the first, but I loved the wind line, didn’t really like the legs line though. The bridge was great, my favorite part of the whole song. While I think you nailed the theme of 21 I’m not sure the entire song sounds like Adele, I mean I can get the feel it is her but it doesn’t 100% sound like her style.
Top Level (Sam)
I haven’t heard any of Kanye's music except maybe a couple features he has done here and there so I won’t be sure at all if I know how close this is to the album or if it sounds like something he would rap at all. The hook is really repetitive so I’m not sure how I feel about it, it definitely drags the song down a bit. The first verse was pretty great, but I prefer the female’s verse a lot more to the male’s. I also really liked the chorus but the hook’s repetitiveness kinda drags it down a bit. Again, not sure how much this sounds like Kanye so I can’t judge.
Wooden Heart (inuborg)
I have only heard My Immortal so I won’t really know if this fits the album at all. I didn’t really like most of the first verse, I liked the concept you were coming up with but I felt like it could’ve been executed better. I liked the chorus but it didn’t exactly wow me and I think you could’ve added more onto it to make it stronger. I like the second verse a lot more than the first. I thought the whole tape line was pretty awkward though. The bridge is easily the best part of the song. Overall, I’m not sure if this is anything like Evanescene but it’s still a pretty decent song.

No negative comments so far and yasssss two of the best tracks on the album
Scarlet Bitch was amazing sis, don't put yourself down like that
THANK YOU
I love the first verse because of the rhythm, usually I make sure each line is perfect
But this time I wanted some lines to lead into each other
To keep up the momentum
THANK YOU

You know, I kind of played with the ambiguity in the verses, so that when the bridge came in, you're like OH, and then the final chorus takes a whole new meaning. That's what I was going for anyway. Whether it worked or not is a different story.
Anyway, thank you Matty!
