Besides DWUW and Applause, Artpop did not even have singles worthy songs. Even Gypsy would have flopped. GUY flopped, Venus would have flopped too because its terrible, the radio would not play SD, Manicure - a flop due to the terrible vocals...

She could have released Venus as a single just for that music video that she had planned. It peaked in the Top 40 anyway so she had nothing to lose (also she could have added that song in the setlist for her next tour)

Well, as Bill, the ex Billboard guy, said: People weren't here for the era. Maybe because the music was bad. Maybe because of the negativity around the era. Maybe both. But yeah, nothing would have done well after DWUW (imo).

Typically wouldn't want Gaga to collab with the latter, but it'd make sense to highlight this generations pop queens. Imagine the meltdowns...and the statement it'd make with the rivalries and pitting them against one another.

You all always talk about how Artpop has no singles when everything about Fashion! screamed late 2013 and was extremely catchy and relatable. Also in the top three of the album.
