CHALLENGE #8
THE ERAS CHALLENGE
On ATRL, we love our eras! We analyze them, we compare them, we praise or drag them and we namedrop them everytime a new artist seems to draw inspiration from them! But what era are the Platinum Hitters in?
    
    
    
    
These are 20 of the most interesting, memorable, lyrically cohesive, thematically distinctive and career defining eras of modern times.
This week, your challenge is to write a song that could fit into one of them! You won't draw inspiration from a particular song, single or topic (let alone copy it!), you will instead be inspired by the essence of the whole album and era! It's up to you to determine in which way you'll be inspired. You are allowed to submit (along with your entry) a short explanation of how your song relates to the era you chose, but it's not necessary.
Below you will find the titles of all 20 albums (in case you didn't recognize the cover) as well as some keywords that describe each era. Remember that the keywords are not part of the challenge, so you won't be judged based on them. I'll just include them to help you out
