Back in HS there was a girl in my class that said that she was a chipmunk raised by wolves but born as a human (so she was sort of chimpunkin? idk ). She as a ****ing mess, she went around getting the wiring out of the walls and chewing the wires, she ate like kikikikikiki, walked with her arms half-spread... one day we were in class and the teacher noticed that instead of attending the lecture she was making a collage of her "chipmunk family tree" so she told her to stop doing that while touching her arm, then she went up like a ****ing demon and screamed "get away from my family BITCH!!!!" and started biting her. It was an all around mess.
I mean, "otherkin" people aren't hurting anyone and doing something that makes them happy, so it's whatever, good for them, but then they compare "coming out as otherkin" to coming out as gay/trans and it's like... What you doing?
Are the sign-ups limited to one person per thing? Just in case I'm not online.
Although sign-ups in general are meant to be more precise (12 contestants, 12 sign-ups), I always try to add extra options so that everyone is happy with what they get. Being online at the time or at least soon after the announcement would be best in any case, but even if you're not, you'll probably find something you'll like even later on.
