Shireens death was unbelievably cruel, but what somehow made it worse was her fanatic mother's reaction. Even that crazy woman realized it was not right to do sth like that to her own child, even tho she was deeply convinced of Melissandre's talkings. Awful scene, but it portrays war very well and what men and women are willing to do to win a war.

Dany's scene was unbelievable great. I even shed a tear because it was overwhelming seeing her bond with Drogon and being the HBIC she is. Loved it!

You know the story about the guy that wants to kill a dragon with a mirror shield?...( her father trying to get the throne with mimics and sacrifices to the god of fire ( ilusions like the mirror shield) , until he fight to the dragon

The way she was screaming for help I was crying so loud. And then her stupid mother started to run Stannis watching it, I think he is going mad. Melisandre is the one ruling no matter what Stannis thinks. Dany's scenes were so good tho.

I think it's only if the infected part of the person touches them, so the guy that grabbed jorah was covered in it, hand to foot, which is why jorah has it on his arm where it grabbed him, if it hasn't spread down to Jorah's hand, I think she's ok she better be anyway

The episode as a whole floored me, minus the crappy dorne scenes, literally the most pointless storyline this season, the outcome was "oh you should have just written a letter to say someone threatened her and I'd have sent her back"

It would be fine (although still sad) if it was just the girl being burned. But instead, her own father allows this to happen which is so out of character for him. That's the problem for most fans I believe.

I'm sad about Shireen, but I feel it was kind of necessary. For the plot and characterization. Stannis is getting desperate. Melisandre continues to be increasingly awful. Shireen was like this bright little sob story, unlike any other character in the show and she needed to go tbh.

Dorne didn't have the greatest storyline, but I guess I'm happy with how they're wrapping it up?

Arya better get Meryn! I wonder if she'll find out some valuable info in the finale?

Jon's storyline is being set up perfectly.

And the fighting pits scene was the best though I feel like it could have been even more badass than it was.

I feel like I'm one of the only few who don't get remotely hyped or excited about Dany or her dragons Like there's nothing exciting about them, maybe it's because Dragons are so overdone. The only two times I've ever felt "yasss" at any dragon scene was when she hatched the eggs, and when she burnt the slaver and revealed she could speak Valyrian.
Besides those scenes, they're just overgrown, badly done CGI lizards

To me, its more about the animal aspect of their relationship. Its just so great to see Drogon fighting for her knowing how much difficulties she had raising them.

Damn, Shireen's actress did a great job with that scene but, like other people were saying, it felt kinda out of character for Stannis to sacrifice her. Who would be his heir????? This just solidified that he ain't getting the Iron Throne imo.

Arya's gonna get herself ****ed over by seeking vengeance rather than sticking to her job set by the Faceless God. She's totally gonna not kill the Thin Man and find her magic opportunity to kill the other guy and something will go wrong to her.

I loved the Fighting Pits scene a lot. It was so intense and it was all well-executed. I really thought that her husband-to-be orchestrated the whole thing especially after the "sorry I was late I had to make sure EVERYTHING WAS IN ORDER" like clearly something was gonna go wrong. And then the killed him, so, uh, maybe not. Nice to see the people that Dany left behind won't be (immediately) killed or captured from the preview as well.

Poor Shireen, Stannis better win & free Sansa after all of this.
The fighting pit scene was amazing!!! I think that's where Dany's storyline stops in the books right?
