I don't get Pears chart but slay

It wasn't really supposed to prove anything, it was just kinda to show that whatever Sam posted at the top of the page isn't really accurate. There were so many decimal points that I did not have time for

Oh, you were right about that. Unfortunately, no estimation can be accurate because of the decimals. You should see the actual scores (I rounded everything up in rounds 1 to 5)

It's just a chart to basically rank everybody. It's more accurate than just adding together your chart run because it looks at the context of each round and how close you came to elimination. A #10 looks good, but if there's only 12 people, it actually isn't. It's probably the most accurate one we can create ourselves, but TT's chart looks at the scores of each person which different and more in depth than placements.

Also, the problem with my chart is that between every placement is the same % in the round, whereas with scores there is flexibility. 4-8 could be extremely close in terms of scores, but that isn't shown in your placement. So I guess we won't know until it's revealed

Euphorian, 8th and myself have never been super close to elimination. For example, in the round I flopped the most, I was still above roughly 39% of the other contestants. Although, to be fair, you would've been the fourth person included, since your lowest is only 36.39%

I know it was inaccurate, which is why I said that it was only an average idea and it was really unreliable. I had Euphorian on my chart at #9 but said he would probably be Top 6, and on your chart he was #5 so I am probably right there.

I know, but on average, that's a probability. Watch me fall into the 17% that says I won't tho.

Also I just thought of a way to make what should hopefully be a more accurate chart. I'm stealing pears' method and tweaking it.

Let me just break out some maths and graphs and ****. This is why you always need at least one Asian on the panel.



Here's a line graph of the number of posts in each season of Platinum Hit. I broke out my calculator to find a line of best fit for the data [I'm using 949.5x^3-8979.1x^2+25134.3x-18041.4 which is incredibly off but more accurate than other lines when x≥5, plus I'm tired of trying lines good lord none of them are close]. Based on that line, if the trends of the number of posts were to continue, Season 8 would have 94,513 posts, Season 9 would have 173,044 posts and Season 10 would have 284,890 posts. And that's operating on the assumption that PH7 posts are literally going to stop right after I post this.

EDIT: I found a better line of best fit [275.8x^4-3464.0x^3+14861x^2-24359.4x+13168.0]. Based on this line, Season 8 will have 125,723 posts, Season 9 will have 282,277 posts and Season 10 will have a whooping 550,170 posts.

Based on my newest line of best fit (you caught b4 the edit hihihi) Season 11 will have nearly a million posts. Of course by then Earth will be destroyed my global warming so it doesn't really matter.
