But of those, a lot them also said that their song would flop. I think a good number of people like their songs, but some of those people also think they're going to flop.

Honestly it's Sia stretching her voice well past its limits, being unable to enunciate, and warbling up and down scales as an excuse for vibrato while singing on directionless melodies that makes me go from "this is a meh song" to "wow her vocal performance turns this song to ****".

The only one actually wanting to be eliminated is GotSkill, who is sick of ATRL in general and wants a permaban, so his frustration has more to do with the forum than the game itself, or at least that's what I get from his posts.

Yeah, Jackson and Bu were the two I was referring to. I don't think Connor willingly sabotaged himself, it was more of an afterthought. But I'm sure he'll be safe anyway so I think he's just overreacting.

Which is kind of what I'm doing. I'm parading around like "omg I hate my song it's gonna get me eliminated" but I just re-read it and I'm happy with it. I know it's not "perfect" though, which is why I'm so hard on it. Like my songs are never perfect, I'm not saying that, but it's already below the standard I strive for and that's before I've read the judges comments, so I'm just worried.

It's still like a 7/8, whereas I'd usually strive for a 9/10 (in my personal opinion) so that's why I'm a little bit bummed. I definitely don't hate my song though and I would be surprised/sad if it got me eliminated.

She only started really really pushing her voice on 1000 Forms. All of the songs are too high now and plus she's not supporting her belts well. I used to like her but over time her voice has begun to annoy me.

As for people thinking they're going to flop, it's pretty natural. We're all insecure because we're not Grammy winners. Saying you probably flopped =/= saying you want to be eliminated.

Honestly all these people talking about them flopping and expecting to be eliminated, along with everyone thinking this will be a **** round, only boosted my confidence because I honestly think I told a story with my song pretty well.

Chandelier's production and grounded/thoughtful melody (well except for the chorus melody) save it from being unlistenable for me because of the vocal but EH has no saving grace with its eclectic arrangement choices (nice way of saying unpleasant to my ear) and its shambling melody.
