Am here at home yet I can't get the inspiration to write.

This week will be another struggle for me

I'll be honest. I didn't respond because I thought someone else would.

I've been really bad about replying lately

I'm trying to get some homework done because me and my man are hanging out today and then going to a concert tonight

Which is pretty much quitting...

Just have the balls to quit please. Staying in here and killing everyone's buzz with your defeated attitude is not the tea. You're still one of my favorite songwriters of the contest, but the more you stick around with this attitude and this pessimism, the more you overshadow all the amazing things you did in this season.

I don't think I've read a single LoveSong entry this season, though I think he's read one of my songs.

I know if I were to quit, I'd want to actually start writing again and get my spark back, though.

Ugh "I Fell In Love With The DJ" remains my production magnum opus. I am getting life to it all over again.

I don't quit, but I'd rather submit something because then at least I know I did try.

Maybe I've exacerbated my defeated attitude a biT in this thread but I did try with this song. If it works, it works. If it doesn't, it doesn't. I've just really stagnated right now because I feel kind of like I put everything I had into my first few songs and now I'm scrambling to recreate them.

Not my PH career basically being front-loaded.

I very much agree. I hate reading everybody's complaining, literally every round. The bi-polar self criticism and then self praise. Like just stop, don't nobody want to read it.

I wouldn't doubt for a second that quitting isn't the main issue.

Just to put in my two cents I hope everyone keeps in mind being in the thread all the time like "Ready to be eliminated!" and shit (not in a joking way) is rather tedious and personally it really annoys me. I'm not thinking of anyone in particular because most people (including myself as a contestant all the time!!!) do this and every season it really annoys the judges.

Maybe we just feel really deflated and want somewhere to vent.
