I should probably clarify, just in case, that he doesn't officially submit scores nor does his feedback affect the result, but, I don't know, I found it really interesting that 3 / 4 of his least faves were also the 3 lowest rated songs of the round.

The song could turn out happy, that depends on your interpretation. But the story was more about being in disbelief about being on the verge of happiness rather than actually experiencing happiness. I'd still welcome a purely happy song based on that story though.

It's still completely subjective, but I think sometimes, when something is really good or really not good (no shade to anyone), everyone agrees. It'll be interesting to see how many of these cases we'll have in the live shows between the 5 judges and then between the judges and Golden / other contestants' feedback.

That's an interesting remark actually. I personally wouldn't mind it if the song didn't have a clear ending. As long as I can clearly see the progress of the story throughout the song, having an ending to that story is not mandatory for me.
