I did too. I started my song like 2 hours after the deadline and sent it less than half an hour later

I feel like if a song just CLICKS with you, and you're just like writing writing writing and have a full song in like 10-15 minutes, chances are you just wrote something great. Like if everything just comes naturally and from a genuine place, then the time spent really doesn't show at all. I think GS probably knows this and never really forces himself into something.

Honestly, I can just imagine him just being his ****ing self then like 20 minutes before the deadline be struck with a Top 3 smash. Let me pick up his philosophy tbh.

My best song (outside of PH) was written in 12 minutes and one of my most backfired concepts took me 3 days, so time has little to nothing to do with the quality. Although, I do agree that most writers need 1 or 2 days to sleep on their concepts and maybe proofread and fix minor things

I guess the judges liked the simplicity. I'm gonna try to take those same feelings and try to put them in a more lighthearted song this week.

This song I wrote for this challenge came to me relatively quick. It's a venture from my usual style (as I've not adopted a story-telling style in this game, tbh), but I still think it's identifiable with something I'd write.

It's one of those songs where you're like "I think this is great, but I could be the only one."

This is true. In season 5 when I had more time on my hands I wrote all my number ones within a day, sometimes within an hour of the challenge being posted. If a song is good I know it so I didn't feel like I needed feedback on ruins. Most of my best songs take about 45 minutes to an hour to write but I've written really good ones in 15 minutes

I wish I wasn't so tired, so I could look at my song with a fresh mind. I think what I am going to do is not focus on it so much today and try not to stress myself out over it. Just going to enjoy the last few hours I'm awake, then when I wake up, reread my song.
