A country music singer/songwriter. Her album, Same Trailer Different Park's first single "Merry Go Round" beat out Begin Again at the Grammy Awards, as well as STDP beating RED for country album. Her and Taylor were always friends, up until now. She was KP headliner for her Pristmatic Tour, and she appeared with Katy on CMT Crossroads. Her follow up releases from STDP were not nearly as big as the lead single. She released "Follow Your Arrow", which has a gay lyric in it, "So make lots of noise, kiss lots of boys, or kiss lots of girls, if that's what you're into". We all know how the country community is on subjects like this. She was more than likely thinking she could pull in a bigger audience (Katy's audience, in this case), by releasing such songs. The song tanked and STDP hasn't scanned Platinum. Looks like she didn't get the attention she wanted, now according to her, Taylor Swift owes her career to her Dad, and tacky marketing schemes. Had she blown up like Taylor did, she wouldn't be so damn bitter about her situation. She tried, she honestly tried to have a bigger career, but she just couldn't pull in that audience. I guess she thinks she would sell a million copies in a week if she had Walgreens and Papa Johns promo. Unfortunately her hopes to widen her audience by going on tour with KP and releasing FYA tanked. Now, she's fuming and having to make a pure country album ("sticking to her roots") because she didn't become as big as Taylor, and she was unable to appeal to a massive audience, poor it
. She's also the girl who is childhood friends with Miranda Lambert. After losing a female vocalist award to Miranda, she was filmed showing her bitch face. This is her childhood friend she is doing this too, and this was her breakout album, her very first, according to the GP. Girl, you don't get to just come up in here and win every single award. Show some courtesy and respect
Funny how all of KP friends have seemed to talk **** about Taylor
I've not heard one of Taylor's friends say anything about her.
Also hilarious is how she is using Taylor's name for hits. Her new album is coming at the end of June. KP fans are Ofcourse taking her side, yet they bashed Taylor for her writing about KP, which was a personal issue. This is Kacey being bitter and childish towards the industry because they didn't give her what she wanted, and she's mad at Taylor because she has exactly what she wants, and can't get. Hypocrites
