Yeah, I feel you. Most of my library is r&b but I've only written 2 r&b songs in my life
I'm still very ignorant as to what "meter" is and I couldn't give a damn. I sense nothing in your lyrics other than words, to which I create my own rhythm, or at least attempt to.
