I don't understand why terms like "shock value" keep getting tossed around. Of course Nicki is gonna shake her ass in "Anaconda"...have you heard the song?! Was she supposed to rap "d*ck bigger than a tower, I ain't talkin' bout Eiffels" wearing a burqa? The video went viral and everybody watched it. That's why she still holds the record.

Besides, what's wrong with using your sex appeal when rapping a sexual song?

That's a good move but it wasn't her VEVO the first 3-4 hours though, and that's when it racked up 2m+ views.

Again, Nicki didn't appear naked in Anaconda, as a Taylor fan you shouldn't be supporting ****-shaming. And Nicki is comfortable in her body, so yeah, it's the same thing: gimmicks to get more views. Neither of those things are based on the quality of the song/video.
