Jhenashe is an up and coming female in the ever competitive r&b scene. She's released a few independent mixtapes for her core fanbase, but we just signed her and we want her debut album to slay everyone!

We're focusing on the urban audience, so her songs have to be relatable to them, tackling prominent topics of r&b. She just broke up, so she definitely wants a few songs about being cheated on or generally being done wrong, but she also wants sex jams and uptempos that can be played on urban radio and hip hop / r&b clubs.

Her influnces are Janet, Aaliyah and Beyonce. Her favorite recent albums are BEYONCE, Aquarius and Reality Show by Jazmine Sullivan.

That's right! Everyone's favorite judge Fefe has paired up with MC to relaunch MonarC records. We're excited to promote the first artist signed to the label: Lisa Butfest. Lisa is a 25-year-old California native who is looking to break onto the pop scene with a fresh summer hit, and although she'll be marketed like your typical singer-songwriter, the fact is, she can't write. (And no, she doesn't play the guitar she'll be holding on her album cover.)

We'll be pushing her first single to pop radio, but we want something that will be a hit on AC and HAC formats since they take forever to retire songs. Since we're aiming for a mid-June release, we definitely want a light, breezy song people can sing along to in their cars. It can be a happy love song or a carefree song about putting your past behind you or an ode to your favorite menu item at McDonald's. We want to hear all of your ideas, as long as we can film at least part of the music video (for minimal cost) on the Santa Monica Pier. Other than that, we are open to anything that could be HAC / AC friendly, but don't make it too depressive!

Color Therapy is a band from Portland, Oregon. They're made up of a singer, a keyboardist, a guitarist, a bassist and a drummer and they specialize in the style of modern indie/alternative. Color Therapy has released one album to Bandcamp and made some waves on the underground scene. However, for their next album they'll have a budget big enough to get time in a recording studio, and they want the best songs possible to record in order to get more mainstream success.

We're focusing on the indie/alternative scene, which is very trendy. The indie/alternative scene is not cheesy but rather cool, and the song's meanings can often be hidden in complex metaphors. Songs venture from simple themes like love to much deeper themes such as a woman named Tralala being raped with a broom (thanks, Alt-J!). Color Therapy wants some songs about the struggles of being an artist but they also want songs that could get radio spins for exposure, along with some darker songs to fill out the record.

Color Therapy is influenced by Alt-J, Alabama Shakes and Broken Bells. Their favorite recent albums include Gist Is by Adult Jazz, I am a Bird Now by Antony & the Johnsons and AM by Arctic Monkeys.

Cat Venti is one of the main pop girls who just signed a lucrative 5-album contract with Matty Records. The other pop girls are catching up to her and she's given us all the creative control to make sure her new album, entitled 'CLASSIC', will be loaded with smash hits. We're aiming for the pop album of the year!!!

Cat needs some fun, catchy, radio driven material to make sure the album spawns a lot of singles. At the same time, she still wants to maintain a personal vibe to the album, so a few well written, powerhouse pop ballads would be a great addition. But each and every track has to have hit potential!!

$parky Wolf is a rapper slightly past his peak, who is looking to expand and freshen his sound with the help of some outside songwriters. He is known to do some singing on his records and has previously found success in the country genre.

We are looking for hard-hitting, in theme or style, rap tracks for his album, whether they're club songs or self-reflective, personal tracks. Although the primary call is for rap, Wolf is from the South and his music has always had considerable country influence, so he'd be happy to release a straight-up country song, a song that captures country's story-telling traditions, as long as it sounds like it'd be worth the risk.
