I heard Roar on the radio yesterday actually (the longevity, Shake It Off who? >>>) and I was thinking how damn perfect the "Ro-o-oar-oar-oar-oar-o-o-oar" hook is. It's so infectious and the melody slays me.

Mess, I forgot Ur So Gay. Flop stan. Let me add it in. I don't claim it tho, truly one of her worst songs ever.

And One Of The Boys was initially the third single in Australia because Hot N Cold had already smashed here when it started smashing in the US and she needed a new single for the international market but it kinda flopped and I think they cancelled its single release in favour of Thinking Of You... which only peaked marginally higher and only charted for one more week on the ARIA charts than One Of The Boys.

So yeah, OOTB was basically the Hummingbird Heartbeat or Walking on Air of the OOTB era.

Waking Up In Vegas was a genuine fluke. As a new artist coming off a flop single (two in Australia), it was a miracle that she was able to get another Top 10 from that album tbh. The song was just too damn good to refuse.

Then again she had a #1 left in If You Can Afford Me but she snubbed it.

Who Am I Writing This Trash For? is the worst.

All of Katy's "dark" songs (Circle The Drain, Who Am I Living For?, By The Grace Of God) are arguably some of her worst in her discography. LAWD the flopping if she actually releases a dark album. We all saw what the Gee Pee thought of Thinking of You and that was only tinged with a sprinkling of darkness.

Actually now that I think about it I don't even hate Ur So Gay that much. She has worse songs.
