- Katy has co-written material (in fact whole albums) equally generic as 22 and WANEGBT.
- Two pop songs composed for the purpose doesn't represent the artistry of other songs on Red (All Too Well, Sad Beautiful Tragic and State of Grace).
- You answered your own question, writing an entire album by herself at such a young age is quite a feat and I respect her very much.
- Taylor's lyrics/sound mesh really well into pop music. She can make a pop song distinctively 'Taylor', where as Katy's pop songs with Luke/Max just sound like any other generic pop song.
Most of all (and I'm going to say it) Taylor is a better song writer than Katy. Compare any of Taylor's self-written songs (there's many) to Katy's and you will see. Taylor's writing has shown growth and maturity (This Love/Clean), where as Katy's remains... well, need I say more?
