She does work with professionals. DJWS, Madeon, Zedd, Richie, Tara, whoever, are all "professionals".
If there "needs" to be a change, it's working with more experienced people. Not because she needs them, but because experience brings wisdom, insight and guidance...which will always be a benefit. Particularly for an artist like her who has SO MUCH going on to think about and is still quite young and learning on the job. She's obviously not hesitant to it considering Tony, Sting, Elton etc. are all offering their advice and support.
She has to find a balance between satisfying her creative vision and what her fans/label want. It's not as easy as people make out. It's her life and she'd be miserable if she had to primarily focus on what other people want from her (hey, ARTPOP)...but naturally, she wants to be a star...and you have to tick other peoples boxes for that.
