Kanye produces songs for cohesive bodies of work (albums), not specifically to sell singles. But since Rihanna is not the best album seller, it hasn't been a convenient solution for her to work with him from scratch.

The Night Is Still Young is such a dud. That, Anaconda, and Big Daddy are the bottom-of-the-barrel trinity on an otherwise amazing album.
