1) the title is misleading the curfew wasnt extending it always was suppose to be 7 days it was only 5 days into the curfew so it wasn't extended.

2) The Mayor lifted the curfew this morning

3) for those saying this isn't a race issue in black neighborhoods in Baltimore the police were arresting people who violated the curfew, in white neighborhoods they gave the people THREE times to go home even sat and TALKED with them a few minutes after the curfew (they didn't do that with the blacks) and in those same white neighborhoods police weren't even driving through however they were in the black neighborhoods
