Honestly, I'm still praying we get it over the summer, but I'd be happy with a September release because at least I'd know it was coming this year, plus we'd still probably at least get the lead single by July or August.

Seems like a good plan to me. Lead single in the summer and a September/October release for the album.

September/October is all hers. Lana will have in Juli/August more success with the new one than Ultraviolence but it won't tarnish 25.

Rihanna's new album seems more artsy.

Big male contenders won't come out by the end of the year.

The only one contender who will be interesting and comes out by end of the year with her sophmore record is Lorde, not in selling power, but how they react when they see each other the first time on the circuit.

Yeah, honestly, I think the rest of the year will be relatively slow for music. Adele has no competition, because — let's be real — the only artist who would be competition for Adele is Taylor Swift, and she's not releasing another album this year — she's gonna milk the hell out of 1989 while she's touring. Adele needs to hurry up because she's honestly got the world in her hands right now. They're all still here for her, and with no competition, do you know how much money she could make opening week alone? She was already destined to have one of the biggest opening weeks like, ever, but with no competition, she could seriously do some major damage to the pop girls that do try and come back this year, even if they do it a few months after Adele releases.

I'd be fine with her releasing a single over the summer and then having to wait a few months for the album. Plus, "Rolling in the Deep" was released in November but didn't take off until around May on US radio. Now that she's a HUGE artist with a highly anticipated comeback, though, if she released the lead single in summer, radio stations would pick it up fast and it would be a huge hit.

Plus, keep in mind — even though Paul Moss wasn't always a reliable source — that the album was allegedly registered with the intent of it being released between whenever it was registered and June of this year. I don't know if that's true, but if it is, I don't know how that would work — I don't know if she can get out of that. That's why she should just release the lead single on Tuesday — not only is it her birthday, but it's also on a Tuesday, and that would give her a whole month to promote it before actually putting out the album.

If we assume that she is going with this album for a mainstream success then she has also to play the game of the business. Promoting in summer isn't a good idea. The late night shows etc. starts again with September.

If the shedule for 25 is 3 month earlier in the year than with 21, this would let her the time to beginn touring in Asia at the beginning of next year.

^ That is a good point. Plus, she's going to need extra time to promote because she'll have to promote in both the UK and the US pretty extensively, although really, I could see the first single doing well just because it's an Adele song, even if she doesn't promote it at all. But honestly, I don't give a f**k. I just want her to do something.... This is beyond ridiculous.

It's not really a rumor, it's more of a hope that we have. She Tweeted last year on her birthday hinting that she would be dropping a new album titled 25 at the end of the year, and after the hacked Sony emails came out, it was confirmed that she wasn't lying because the album was supposed to be released last year, so... There's a slight possibility she may make some sort of an announcement or hint or something this year on her birthday, but I kind of have my doubts.
