People tend to want to compartmentalize and place people as either/or for the most part when it comes to great performers vs. great vocalists. But I'm happy she is widely recognized for her talent in general even if there isn't major focus on JUST her vocals because of her package.

Yeah, people tend to look at her as a great entertainer moreso then a great vocalist. There are very few public instances of Bey just getting on stage, being still

and singing DOWNE, therefore people who aren't stans can't see that she is truly a vocal beast.
And when Bey does hop on stage and stands and sings, people call it boring because they're use to her high impact energy. She probably sang the hell out of XO at the Brit's award, but I don't know or remember because I was beyond bored.
