The reason it is so good is because Fernando Garibay helped produce it.

It's not that she's "too good" to work with him, but Gaga isn't the type of artist to work with a restricting or formulaic producer like that. It's a different process and it's not for her.

Oh no. Max Martin is a genius. I don't have a problem with anyone working with him ever. I mean, GaGa worked with David Guetta and will.i.am. and got the most relatable and radio friendly song on the album - Fashion!

I know right? I got so ****ing mad. I played this like over 250+ times and then the iTunes Festival performance like 400+ times. I was obsessed with the Gags up until Artpoop actually released.

If we were talking about Yours Truly album, sure, but the only one of those singles that I mentioned that sounds like a Mariah song is maybe Problem. Mariah never worked with Max Martin tho, as far as I know. Break Free, LMH, and OLT sound nothing like Mariah songs other than Ariana's vocals. They're too pop.

It's kinda true though. GodGa is a stubborn loser who has completely lost it for awhile now. I don't think Max Martin would have signed off on the majority of the cringe worthy lyrics she's been providing since 2011.

Sexxx Dreams is a good song but a horrible recording (like 45S). It needed a more capable producer. Dr. Luke or Darkchild would have killed it.

Garibay produced Marry The Night, The Edge of Glory, Born This Way, and Dance in the Dark. He's sorta responsible for that anthemic wall-of-sound pseudo-demoish sound that was associated with her.
