I don't watch television or listen to the radio so songs never become overplayed and ruined for me. Easy to see why it's a talent show staple though, how many other big songs by male vocalists in recent times actually allow you to show off vocals?
I adore Marinas vocal technique. The way she desperately wails Forgeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet in her best sing but takes a demonic man voice to speak about being a broke sad bitch. Artiste!
