After weeks of voting and hundreds of thousands of votes cast, Billboard is now able to announce the Hot 100 March Madness 2015 champion! Either Hozier's "Take Me To Church" or Katy Perry's "Dark Horse" was going to follow in the footsteps of past winners "Hold It Against Me," "Scream and Shout" and "Wrecking Ball," and this year, Hot 100 March Madness voters were ready for (ready for) a perfect storm (a perfect storm)!
That's right, "Dark Horse" by Katy Perry featuring Juicy J is the winner of this year's fan-voted bracket contest! The PRISM smash, which spent four weeks at No. 1 on the Hot 100 in early 2014, earned 64 percent of the vote in its matchup against "Take Me To Church," ending Hozier's Cinderella run and claiming this year's championship.
Dark Horse defeated Let Her Go (Passenger), Stay With Me (Sam Smith), Sugar (Maroon 5), Love Me Like You Do (Ellie Goulding) and eventually Take Me To Church (Hozier) on the way to the title.
Queen of Pop just keeps winning.

How many votes were casted? I'm not surprised Britney won with "Hold It Against Me" & "Scream & Shout" -- her army is still very much high-strung on getting her #1 on charts/statistics like this. Katy Perry's fanbase loves these sort of accolades too. This is like Beyonce at the BET Awards... too easy! #SLAYsis

IF anything her fanbase is not strong at voting...she won cause the song was a smash

If anything, the Katy Cats are one of the least obsessed fanbases in this way. Dark Horse was a smash with the GP and that's why it won.
