I kinda like Vera Farmiga in Bates Motel better than Jessica Lange in AHS. Is that a controversial opinion?

They're both equally amazing but Vera has the better supporting cast and the better script so...

They want to (or at least J. Nolan wants to, no idea about Chris) but we will see how that pans out. I want a resolution for Hathaway's character, poor thing is stranded in a universe far, far away. I am fine with it being self-contained though. Wasn't McConaughey so good?

CHVRCHES is soooo good. Glad they swept up Purity Ring's sound and removed the tryhard parts.

It shouldn't be. The only reason I can think is because Lange's performance carries AHS. Bates Motel is a better show and better cast overall imo.

Jessica Lange is overrated and was only good in season one of "American Horror Story." She was truly captivatingly creepy. (She was good in season two, too, but to a lesser extent.) I agree Vera Farmiga is better in "Bates Motel" than Jessica Lange is/was in "American Horror Story." Farmiga (and Freddie Highmore) better get their Emmys and Golden Globes!

The first half of LMLYD is really great. The second chorus is when it dies.

I just found out my sister just started watching it and my mom wants to watch too so we are starting from the beginning. I forgot how much I liked Farmiga in this. Poor Taissa.

I believe that Chris + Rih are still close friends. Kinda like that old friend you still call up kinda thing.

I'm trying very hard to like "The Returned," but it's just not happening for me. Those white people are so boring, but what makes it worse, is that they are also unattractive and uninteresting (and untalented). "The Leftovers" has boring white people, too, but at least they're attractive and played by talented actors (and the general story is compelling and well-written).

Freakshow was a disappointment. I forced myself to finish the episodes this past week on break since I hate to leave a season halfway. I don't have no interest to watch AHS going further. There are so many good shows these days but to me, it seems like the writing falls off so quickly. Or maybe we're just the ADD-addled now generation so we're always on to the next.
