People can be influenced by you. Not saying that Madonna is not influencial or anything, she is, the point is that currently people are not respecting her enough and it's her own fault.

She hasn't been influential since 2011. I'm sorry to burst some of your bubbles but only successful people can be influential. The more success you have the more influence you've got. Nobody is trying to be like Gaga, no one finds inspiration in her music, she hasn't dominated radio waves for a while, etc. She just isn't influential in any way, her fans can vote tho.

In the past two months, she's won a Grammy (Grammys are awards for music excellence), was critically acclaimed and went low-key viral for her Oscars performance, and was asked to star on one of the most popular shows currently on TV. So no, she's not successful at all
