The HOT 100 Top 10 is starved for new music. Songs staying in the top 5/10 for weeks on end is a failure of the record labels to adequately release material. They try to cram it all in at the end of the year. All the new music can't get noticed if a field is crowded. Why not spread out the release cycle? Seriously.

Someone mentioned in previous page Billboard just reweighed the value of radio airplay? Can anyone confirm this?

People suspected it because Night Changes, which had already peaked in sales and streaming, jumped up 7 positions this week. Additionally, Outside, which is a classic Calvin Harris airplay-driven hit, also increased 7 positions.

There is no official confirmation from Billboard, however.

Earned it will probably increase in streams next week. It's steady increase in sales and skyrocket in airplay
