Natalia Kills Getting Bashed Simply Because of Gender.
So I'm just going to state the facts...Natalia is getting all of this heat, the way she is simply because she's a woman.
Now, y'all can banter on and say "No! She crossed the line!!", "She went overboard"....but Simon for one has done wayyy worse than Natalia. However, he is constantly praised and showered with adoration because of it, it's sad.
For example, this is a compilation of many of the MEANEST things Simon has ever said:
Guess what the video is called: "Best of Simon".
The video has over 7,000 likes and he is adored for it.
Look at a comment from the video: "I'm not sure why people hate on Simon Cowell. He doesn't sugar coat **** and tells people what they need to hear. He is realist, and people need to stop feeling so bad for people without talent who are trying to accomplish something they couldn't possibly do".
This comment has over 250 likes.
{Where was Lorde sending this contestant cupcakes telling him that he shouldn't give up? Or where were any of these people coming out now to say "You should never crush somebody's dreams"}
But in the case of Natalia, it's "X Factor judge BULLIES contestant", "X Factor judge LOSES TEMPER", "X Factor Judge gives SHOCKING comments".
To add to all of that, thousands and thousands of people are BASHING and ATTACKING her because of ONE comment.
The more reductive thing about it all is some of the insults I read like "Well, it's back to the strip club", or "Well, I think it's back to living on the streets"..
These are beyond rude and reductive statements. So y'all believe that because she is a woman that made a mistake, nobody else would hire her???
However, when Chris Brown did what he did, I never heard comments like "Well, looks like it's back to the strip club."...
It's honestly reductive.
The final nail in the coffin is that Willy Moon who said A WAY MORE OFFENSIVE statement is getting 0-no heat for it. It's honestly sad!
no boo, simon never dragged or insulted a contestant's looks the way Natalia did,
sis, don't even try to use feminism to cover this mess up.... Natalia BULLIED a contestant on air for like two minutes
where as simon talked about how bad someone's SINGING was, and crushed a few dreams... but Simon has never sat and dragged a contestant for wearing a dress and having straight hair for two minutes, for comparison. nor did he say he is disgusted to even be in the room with a contestant or anyone for that matter
simon wouldnt yell at some poor guy all because he wore a suit and accuse him of being a copycat with no value for originality. willy is getting hate too.
There's a difference to what the two judges said though. Simon mostly stays on point with the singing and almost all the audition videos posted from Simon on American Idol are from the initial audition phase; yes they were aired on tv, but they were also aired with the contestant's consent.
Natalia tore down the contestant on Live television for everyone to see. He did not have the benefit of editing, or the ability to object to the national airing of something so humiliating. Natalia also tore into the contestant seemingly only to boost up the guy sitting next to her.
Also, Nicki Minaj literally told a group of contestants on live television to get off the American Idol stage and that she was disgusted with their performance; she did not receive the backlash. I do not bring that up to say Nicki should suffer backlash; I bring it up because there are differences between what Simon or Nicki or any talent show judge may have said and what Natalia said and to write this all off based off gender is trivializing things.
But he has insulted people's looks. So what's the difference? Lets not
simon has made slight jokes and insults about a a contestants looks, and natalia again dragged on for two minutes some guy for copying her husband, yelling that "he is disgusting", "she is disgusted to even be in the same room", "you are sick!" if you can't see a difference god help me...
pls don't start with this feminism or sexism BS... if it were a female contestant Natalia was dragging, this wouldn't even be thought of.... blaming sexism is giving her the victim card and if y'all do that I will actually be disgusted
