"Self-loathing" would be more those who actually don't wear their own hair.

As someone who is actually from the black community and not some Frenchmen who have no idea what he's talking about, the real vs. fake hair thing stems from the idea that wearing your real hair means that you have self-love and those who wear weaves and tracks are trying to have hair or look like white European women.

There's also an element of shaming people who wear weaves which I don't think is fair. It's not always about "looking" like a certain race/people but looking good yourself & what you want to look like.

I kinda agree that real hair >>> though but not everyone is so lucky!
