I dreamt that she released an album yesterday. It was chock-full of breakup tunes. I hope the success of songs like Uptown Funk will get her out of her comfort zone.

not me... i need a dark and atmospheric album from her. sure, some good-time TT-ish songs here and there, but the overall mood should be m!ss/fh-ish. i don't want another TTAL which was happy fappy for the most part
^ so true. i always say i don't want to put my expectations too high up and then i do it again... let's hope new music won't be a bunch of you-know-whats.
But I feel she already has dark songs. And I know she draws inspiration from pain. But maybe it's time for a happy song. But I don't want it to be trashy. I want it to be meaningful like Home, etc. I should say more indie.

rose ave. was cute but I'm just really not into acoustic music tbh.
She needs a pure pop song, or at least one with some indie influences. Not here for a Kelly Clarkson sized mess.
I came to conclusion that TTAL is a decent pop album with a wrong tracklist. I also think that the Lily Allen-eske playful INMIY productions doesn't suit her singing style at all and it just didn't turn out as great as it was thought to do. For example, Stupid Girls, M!ssundaztood or The Truth About Love is how she can do songs like that, but Greg simply could not do her justice.
