Her influence can be seen in Beyonce, J-Lo, Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Little Mix, Rita Ora just to name a few. Her songs always make music list and she is one of the biggest selling artist of all time. Only the pop girl who's style and aesthetic is copied by the youth.

I laughed continuously tbh
1. hits treasured by the GP? ask them what are Rihanna classic and they'll answer WFL and it's not even that old to be considered as a classic. Umbrella is a bit memorable since it was her breakthrough.
2. Beyoncé, J.Lo..??? The only artist she has influenced directly is maybe Willow Smith. Rita Ora looks like her but musically? nope.
3. which music lists do you read? I can't think of one critically acclaimed song like Crazy In Love Countdown or Flawless in her discography.
4. every pop girl is imitated by the youth; this is total ********. Beyoncé has a more iconic look/poses/etc... than her. Lady Gaga fashion is more of a staple in the 2010s even if people don't dress like her in the street she remains a staple in the fashion world especially for musicians.
last thing Rihanna inspired was the red hair and it was very local to the UK. I live in France and people didn't die their har... etc. plus the red hair was initially done by Janet in 1997.
don't talk about that Cassie haircut and well spread cause that was out before Unapologetic look.

fact is Rihanna has a special tone to her voice that makes her special but her hits are just in-the-moment smash that don't show any type of musicianship or originality. what is her contribution to urban music? to reggae? to pop music? the last contribution by a pop girl was the rap singing style and it was in 1997 with Beyoncé. everything you claim your faves has created is actually trends that come and go. your faves have done nothing. selling .99cents digital copies is very cute but it doesn't build any type of legacy... Celine Dion has sold 3x more than Aretha but Aretha will remain forever Iconic for starting something.
