But there's something about Rihanna. I believe she's an icon, has bigger hits (although majority of her #1's are forgotten!) and has a much wider audience.

Call me when taylor is even 1/8th as important as rihanna is to pop culture and not just american pop culture, pop culture internationally. RIhanna is a Fashion Icon, a Sex Icon and has had more impact on pop music than taylor. Ive never heard a song where someone is trying to replicate taylor swift but so many established artists have been singing songs that even critics have called out for sounding like a rihanna RIHject.
