IF they really didn't care about their chart positions, why would they care about me mentioning their spots on the charts. I mean I swear didn't do as well as Touch my body and its still are more superior song so no amount of chart bashing can change that opinion can it? Charts are used to dictate who is 'good" and who is mediocre in public's eyes and if the public didn't matter, you wouldn't care what netizens say, you wouldn't care about the awards they get, or how many cfs they get because it truly would just be about the music but its never just about the music is it?

Idol kpop music isn't in you are very right about that and YG doesnt do well because its hip hop. They have the artist concept down pat. GD is known as a composer and lyricist along with every member of BIGBANG. WINNER was mediaplayed for being true artists involved of all aspects same thing with iKON. AKMU writes their own stuff. Epik High writes their own stuff. 2NE1 did well becauase mainly they are 2NE1. Taeyang did well because he came out with a truly sentimental song.

Koreans musically crave authencity, great lyrics, or vocal slayage mainly or you magically make guys horny...you will do well. Of course there are exceptions but thats the main things that will raise a groups chances
