Some people are saying she got punished like that for dressing that way as a thirteen year old, others are saying she ran away for three days.

He's pulling her around by her hair and whooping her publicly. I'm all for a good beating but parents who put on a show for people to see and then post it on social media are the worst. That never leaves the internet and your child will hate you for life.
It's abuse. I grew up in a household that thought beating your children into doing what you want was the correct way to parent. It has really ****ed me up in my later years and at times I resent my parents for it.
There is a way to teach a child something without beating them.
I was spanked as a child and don't believe there's anything wrong with it (up to a certain point), but this video is a BIT much. A few whops from the belt, okay, but the cursing and calling her a "bitch" and "hoe" take this over the line for me. And to post it on the Internet?

It's a very dangerous and misogynistic message to send that a girl "deserves" to get beaten because of the way she's dressed. I understand the intent behind it and that she's only 13, but that is NOT the way you handle it.

Beating her was one thing. But calling her a bitch and hoe was over board. Really all he had to do was serve her discipline, and take away her privileges for 3 months. Posting this online is more trouble than its worth.

And as it was previously said above, such comments make it look like it's ok to hit girls only because of how they dress
