Omg it's me, I can already tell. The way I usually write with the vivid imagery and stuff doesn't translate well in a song since I do admit it's more poetic than actual song lyrics. So that could be forced because Then again, Sam Jay has a completely different style to what the round entails so that could be a reason too. But he's so talented and could really write something amazing with his abilities that I lack. And then you got Daniel who was stressing out about the Northern Lights thingy and that could be a reason too although I saw his snippets and the imagery was really vivid. But then you have me who was focused on having a good flow so adapted my lyrics and, through that, lost some of the song's credibility and that could be a reason too. Ugh I really just want to write a fun, upbeat song. You know? But every time I do I can't help but include a bit of pain in there. Like blues singers from back in the day. I was compared to you pretty early this season when I was submitting pretty dark, depressive songs so that's all I really know about your kinda style I guess, but normally I take a lot of inspiration from dreams or the mind, so my songs aren't really centred around myself but rather drawn by what is visualised in dreams or in my mind, so the unconventional structures and things kinda make more sense here, but probably wouldn't in a different style song. I don't really know how I'd describe my style because I like the play around with many different ones, but I definitely have the most fun writing dreamy songs.

This entire round has been a kerfuffle for me tbh but thanks for taking the time out to help me! It was just really bad timing because I knew I had to step it up in terms of structure etc but then this round ordered something different and I was like whewww so I had to serve them the jumbo meal instead and felt a bit out of my depth. Especially when I felt so disheartened last week after thinking that my song was the **** when it was actually ****. Not to worry though, it's natural for me to freak out like this. I kinda enjoy it.
