I don't understand what the problem is. Everybody has their thing. Just like how Apple fanboys go out and drop hundreds to a stack on the latest phone or product when it's no different from the last line and their are better and usually cheaper phones on the market.

Exactly. My dad and bro are sneakerheads and I've grown up with this. Been wearing Js since I was literally in kindergarten I have more pairs than I can count and I'm not even 22 yet. People like to collect different things and are willing (and able) to spend certain amounts of money for them and there's no problem with that, I don't think.

Tbh, I don't think buying either product makes good sense to spend so much money on. It's even worse in poorer communities since the disposal income is even less.
