Normally card erratas are things like changing "Removed from play" to "Banished", or "Fusion Deck" to "Extra Deck". And in rare occasions erratas are made to change the rules of cards.
In this case, they errata'd those cards in order to change their rules. As you can see now all of those cards have conditions, when they didn't have them before and were OP because of that.

It has been focused on archetypes since GX, though.
And I like archetypes, they give each deck a real theme instead of just a bunch of cards together.
