Ugh, I wanted to watch REC 4 tonight but the only subtitles on the internet for it are horrible watching with subtitles is one thing but having to reconstruct broken English... I guess I'll wait.

I watched The Babadook last night btw and it was pretty spooky (in an authentic way), if anything. There were many scenes I enjoyed. I also appreciate how abstract it was in the way that it was shot. This idea of madness and manifestation was probably my favourite aspect of the entire movie. It isn't the absolute best that 2014 has to offer, definitely one of though. Aunt Claire is such a bitch, might I add. Her daughter isn't a lil ray of sunshine either.
Guys please post some good underrated horrors in your opinion!
Excision is a MASTERPIECE which gets no appreciation
Pitch Black is another good one (if you want a Sci-Fi-Survival one like Alien) which is given very little attention
Suspiria is amazing too, though it's definitely style over substance
