The trailer looked bad, she looked okay. I don't have a problem with her getting some notices but there are some truly great performances that might be overlooked because of her. I hope she continues on this path and stops the rom-com stuff though.

Winning an Oscar has brought out nothing but greatness from Bullock and McConaghod continues his reign post. Hopefully her nomination will keep her doing good and challenging things.

Fight Club is Fincher's best in my opinion, and Dragon Tattoo his absolute worst. That being said, Dragon Tattoo was good also. He's incapable of making anything close to terrible.

Carrie Coon is excellent in Gone Girl. Love how she's been getting critic notices in their regional awards.

SYG is overrating Gone Girl. The twists are fun and exciting, but there's nothing incredible about it. I haven't seen the rest of the big movies this year, but if Gone Girl is getting legit nominations

Dragon Tattoo winning editing was, like, one of the biggest shocks ever. Editing is the key to winning (I think only a small handful of films have won BP without an editing nomination).

Oh, Zodiac > Se7en > The Social Network, easily.

It doesn't matter if the latter is overrated or not bc it's universally viewed as the best movie of 2010 and definitely better than Gone Girl.

If anything, Fight Club is his most overrated movie by far. It's not that good and I'm glad many people have been realizing that lately.
