not impressed. I think I might just have a thing with female rappers. Are my expectations too high? Nicki and Iggy aren't doing it for me. BWET was cute and I love Jungle *****, but overall, I'm waiting for someone to catch me like Left Eye, Missy, Mc Lyte, Lauryn, Rah Digga, Jean Grae, Queen Latifah, or Da Brat.... Bitches that can hold their own without heavy features and who aren't hypersexualized, overhyped trash.
I've come to the realization that Nicki has mad potential. I see it on her features, but her own **** always falls flat (or at least since Pink Friday).
I think that maybe it's time for me to get over the unrealistic expectation to expect today's female rappers to be able to touch the female rappers of the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s.
