People so desperate to join an 'elite' dating site catering to 'beautiful people' are undergoing extreme makeovers to make the cut.
To join BeautifulPeople.com, there is a 48-hour voting period where members of the opposite sex decide whether they are attractive enough to join.
Since its launch in 2003, the site has rejected 7.5 million applicants. However, more than one in four refused to accept defeat and made dramatic changes to their appearance in the hope of being accepted.

Aleksandra Piecze from Poland, pictured after, top, and before, bottom, underwent a dramatic transformation
Bulking up: Alexander Siegwardt from Germany, pictured before, top, and after, bottom, wanted to show that sheer determination, dramatic make-overs, styling and hours in the gym can transform

There's nothing wrong with making yourself look better. Everyone wants to look pretty. It's only bad if appearance is #1 in your list of finding the other half
All these people proved their determination in taking care of themselves, transforming from ugly duckies to stunning people, and they deserve respect for that. I wish them all the best
I feel like these these people are not even looking for a relationship, they just want to be able to say that they were accepted to this site. They are just looking for validation and some of these pics look they were photoshop so what's going to happen when they see how they really look like?
I don't get the purpose of this dating site and I bet my money that this dating site is also racist. It's probably all white people.
