Roar was a good music video and Dark Horse was well-made, just incredibly tacky and a tonal mis-match. Birthday is an abortion and it's best to forget about that. This Is How We Do was good but overall forgettable.

I actually prefer "X" over In the Lonely Hour. I know I'm in the minority. Sam has the better concept and higher highs but as an album I think X is much more diverse with his themes in his lyrics.

I don't think every black person being encountered with a white police officer is racially-motivated, but the government and the way they're trying to hide about the most obvious suspect situations just confirm that the system is corrupt.
