Guys any suggestions for me? I need a good horror/thriller movie with an interesting plot(could be paranormal, religious or anything) or any teen horror similar to Disturbia and The Stepfather?

Has anyone seen Under the Skin? I'm contemplating on whether I should watch it or skip it – what do you guys think?

The Babadook is an average movie. I haven't seen the other one.

The Babadook was a waste of time – you didn't get to see anything and only a few jump scares.

Never watched the original. Maybe that's why I enjoyed watching the remake. I usually like remakes, they're entertaining.

You guys need to watch Housebound. It was brilliant! Really tongue in cheek horror/comedy, but still pretty ****ing scary at the same time.

Kairo as in 2001's Pulse? I always see it heralded as one of if not the absolute best J-Horror but I didn't like it AT ALL I'm fine with slow burners but it bored me to tears.

I didn't like The Babadook either (the child in it is the most annoying kid in cinema history tbh) but it seems to be polarizing so I'd give it a shot if it seems interesting to you.

Maybe I'm looking too much into it, but the lighting was too good for me to take it seriously as a "found footage" style film. And the explanation was so rushed compared to the long boring beginning

It had been many years since i watched any of the two and decided to do a bit of a throwback movie marathon.

seen it a while ago--incredible movie!! so much fun! and all the characters were a hoot
