I'm bi but I know what you mean in a way. It happens to me a lot with straight and bi guys. I fall for them before I find out what their sexual orientation is and they usually turn out to be bi or (unfortunately) straight. I don't know what it is, but I'm sure it has nothing to do with physical attraction. Any sexual orientation has attractive people and I've seen my fair share of ugly/beautiful straight and bi men, as well as ugly/beautiful gay men.

Maybe it's just a personality/masculinity thing? I tend to like nerds that are into sports and exercise and video games etc. When I happen to find a cute gay guy that is into that stuff, I obsess ova ha too so..
